Solar PV — In-roof system day (S4) — 8 February 2027
A full day on in-roof solar — the system where the panels sit within the roof covering rather than on top of it. Theory and workbook in the morning, hands on the rigs all afternoon fitting an S4 tray system from start to finish.

Who it is for
Roofers and roofing apprentices adding solar to what they offer, and anyone who wants the in-roof skill without committing to the full qualification. Scaffolders, electricians and maintenance teams are welcome too.
What to bring
Just your own safety boots. We provide everything else — hi-vis, helmet, gloves, eye protection, your workbook and pens. Lunch is not provided.
Where and when
Unit 6, Price Street Business Centre, Price Street, Birkenhead, Wirral CH41 4JQ. 9:00am to 4:30pm, with a 30 minute lunch.
Want the qualification as well?
This is a standalone day. On its own it does not lead to the NOCN Solar PV Installation for Roofers qualification. If you decide afterwards that you want it, you can upgrade and complete the days you have left — you are never charged twice for a day you have already done.
