Theory and workbook in the morning\, hands on the rigs all afternoon fitting an S4 tray system from start to finish. \nWhat you will cover\n\nHow in-roof tray systems work and where they are specified\nSetting out\, weathering and flashing details\nFitting a complete S4 tray system on the workshop rig\nThe workbook sections that go with it\n\n\nWho it is for\nRoofers and roofing apprentices adding solar to what they offer\, and anyone who wants the in-roof skill without committing to the full qualification. Scaffolders\, electricians and maintenance teams are welcome too. \nWhat to bring\nJust your own safety boots. We provide everything else — hi-vis\, helmet\, gloves\, eye protection\, your workbook and pens. Lunch is not provided. \nWhere and when\nUnit 6\, Price Street Business Centre\, Price Street\, Birkenhead\, Wirral CH41 4JQ. 9:00am to 4:30pm\, with a 30 minute lunch. \nWant the qualification as well?\nThis is a standalone day. On its own it does not lead to the NOCN Solar PV Installation for Roofers qualification. If you decide afterwards that you want it\, you can upgrade and complete the days you have left — you are never charged twice for a day you have already done. \nUpgrade to the full qualification

You reach it either by booking the full three day qualification\, or by upgrading after a single day. \nWhat happens on the day\n\nFinishing the theory and completing the workbook\nPractical assessment across both in-roof and on-roof systems\nAny gaps filled before the work goes forward\n\n\nYour certificate\nCornerstone holds NOCN direct claims status. Once your workbook is marked and your assessment is complete\, our internal quality assurer checks the work and we claim your certificate directly — usually with you within two to three weeks.
